Diagnostics: Minor’s Test

Minor’s test gives the opportunity to determine the size and to some extent the intensity of hyperhidrosis.

The area under examination is dried and afterwards iodinated and sprinkled with starch powder. Sweating areas take a bright blue-black dye.

Sweat gland activity limits are marked and further treatment or surgical manipulations are held.
